Practical Smart Home Email is a small personal tool that connects one person's Home Assistant smart-home system to that same person's own Gmail account.

What it does

Home Assistant is home-automation software that runs on the owner's own hardware. This app gives that installation permission to read the owner's Gmail so that email-based automations can run, such as showing a notification when a delivery notice arrives.

Who can use it

Only the owner of the Google account it is connected to. It is not offered to the public, and no one else signs in to it.
